Nowadays,many families have a dog or a cat as a pet. Some people think that pets aregood and helpful companies. Some of them even go so far as saying that animalsare as good as humans, and their rights should be respected .Senior citizensare especially fond of keeping pet because they are always feeling lonely athome and they see the cats or dogs as their partner.
現(xiàn)如今，很多家庭都養(yǎng)有寵物狗或?qū)櫸镓垺Ｓ械娜苏J(rèn)為寵物是很好的伙伴，甚至有人說(shuō)動(dòng)物和人類(lèi)一樣，也需要被尊重。老人特別喜歡養(yǎng)寵物，因?yàn)樗麄兇诩依�，比較容易感覺(jué)到寂寞，他們把寵物當(dāng)做自己的伙伴。
Butsome other people do not like pets. They say that animals are noisy, dirty anddangerous. They think laws should be made to forbid people from keeping pets incities and towns.

Inmy opinion, pets are loyal friends that will never betray us. Staying withpets, we shall enjoy happiness and feel relaxed. Most important of all, keepingpets helps people to reduce loneliness and forget their unpleasant things forthe time being.
我認(rèn)為寵物是我們的朋友，不會(huì)背叛我們。和寵物待在一起，我們能感受到快樂(lè)和放松。最重要的是，養(yǎng)寵物能減少寂寞，也能暫時(shí)忘記不愉快的事情。
